If you are not in the mood for sightseeing you can always relax in our lounge where you can watch our Big Screen Satellite TV featuring ESPN Channel and Sky. Play a game of pool or just relax and listen to music and chat to other travellers.
The Horuts hotel has of course Internet access and many other facilities and services such as free Tea and Coffee all day,

There is no Curfew/Lockout at the Horuts hotel all
rooms have safes and televisions

The closing time for reception/check in is 11pm, so please be aware when you plan your arrival late night. After 11pm you will have to have a key for the front door.

Location
The Hortus is a great place to stay. We are 15 minutes walk from the Central Station and are situated close to the Artis Zoo, the famous Rembrandts house and not to mention the Flea markets which is just 2 minutes walk away.

From Schipol airport you can take a taxi.(cost 35 -40 euros)
From Central Station you can take tram 9 and get out at the 7th stop(plantage kerklaan). Walk back 1 block then turn left onto the Plantage Parklaan.
From Central Station you can take the metro/subway. It is the second stop and you take the Hernegracht exit.
Hortus Hotel by taxi: From the Airport:
30,00 to 40,00 euro, duration 15 / 20 minutes. From the
Central Station: 15,00 - 25,00 euro depending of traffic
jams. Duration 10 / 20 minutes.
