Amsterdam's nightlife szene is wonderfully easy going and there are a few refreshing new clubs that have been established in and around the city centre.
Dress codes for nightclubs are fairly soft with only a few exeptions. There are a number of big concert halls,
cinemas, theatres and other venues in the city. But when Amsterdam really comes alive is when there are street festivals
such as the famous Gay Parade or open-air concerts and other outdoor events in the parks and street along the canals in the centre.
